Wayne is a highly skilled and experienced human factors professional with solid management, design and research background in several areas and applications of human factors, ergonomics, fatigue risk management, health and safety, accessibility, training, training development, human reliability and maintainability. He has a wide range of experiences working in corporate and government technical environments. He is an internationally recognized expert in human error, fatigue risk management, human factors and ergonomics, and has contributed to many high-profile projects and government policies, including regulatory development. Wayne is current in most human factors analysis methods and tools, and continues to explore recent technology and approaches. He is familiar with HF requirements for the military, aerospace, aviation, nuclear, rail, marine, and petroleum industries.
He has produced over 182 technical reports, presentations, and academic papers. He is a certified professional ergonomist (certificate # 21 – 1992 – Board of Certification for Professional Ergonomics)
